GRAND REVIVAL
of the
Jewish National Holiday of Chanucka,
ACADEMY OF MUSIC,
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16th, 1879.
The greatest Jewish event chronicled in the Post-Biblical History, the recollection of which ever awakens the true Jewish spirit and patriotism, will be celebrated by the
Young Men's Hebrew Association,
in a manner and style never before equalled, and worthy the subject and occasion.
Living representations of the stirring scenes and glowing events of the Maccabean war and triumph will be vividly protrayed [sic], concluding with a grand procession of the return of the victorious heroes.
The tableaux will be under the direction of Prof. CARL MARWIG, the genius of Children's Carnival Balls.
Costumes new and original, historically correct, and specially designed to illustrate the Maccabean period.
Choruses of Hebrew Melodies will be rendered by 100 children of the Hebrew Orphan Asylum.
Music by an Orchestra of 100 performers.

The prices of admission have been fixed to enable all to join in this Jewish National Celebration. Gentleman's ticket, $2.00; Ladies' ticket, $1.00.
