In a destroyed church parking lot in Biloxi, Mississippi, American RadioWorks' Stephen Smith captured audio of a moving church service one week after hurricane Katrina had struck the Gulf coast. Also, hear the stories of Pastor Hollins and Hazel Price.

(00:17–08:00) In the first eight minutes, Pastor Kenneth Hollins of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church opens the service with a passage from Psalms.

(08:05–11:39) Parishioner Hazel Price recounts her desperate escape from the flood waters with her family.

(11:47–27:10) Pastor Hollins preaches on the gospel of Matthew, in which Jesus tells the disciples, at sea in a storm, to "be not afraid."
