| Reflections on "Marriage in Our Time Part I: Marriage, Divorce, and Scripture."

The institution of marriage is at best in flux — at worst, in crisis. More adults are choosing not to marry. Half of recent marriages are ending in divorce. At the same time, American attitudes toward marriage and family remain infused, at least implicitly, with scriptural messages. Host Krista Tippett speaks with a rabbi and a Christian theologian, both of whom shed provocative light on what the Bible says about sexuality, marriage, and divorce.
